The Trimester

High School life is the happiest
they say; a new chapter,
since graduating sixth grade
isn't the end, thus only the beginning.

Freshmen, a fresh start
of a new expedition towards
‘the’ future. Fatiguing projects and
Never-ending activities.

But it never stops there;
the memories made in a
class full of divergence
was unforgettable.

Then there comes the sophomore year,
the ever lively and fun second year.
Never there was a dull moment in
the four corners of our room.

Yellow representations fill the air and
happiness was evident
in everyone’s eyes; the year was
full of fun, and fun, and fun.

Now enters this present year,
the Junior year where the real thing
begins; With the Research and Spanish
subjects, awareness of the
future never ends.

We may not be entitled the best
nonetheless, we were fulfilled.
This journey never ends here,
problems will still come,
but together, we will overcome.

In the room of Reality

Looking forward to another school year is not so me. New set of subjects, new teachers, new classmates, new rooms, and of course, new set of requirements. Yes, the 's' part is right. I never looked forward to those homework, projects, and stuffs. As I've said, NOT SO ME.

2nd of June, 2k14.

The irritating sound of the alarm clock awakens the average girl, studying at the most prestigious school in Cavite. She, who resides at a town far from the school's location, well, obviously needs to wake up earlier than other students. She stirs, then grumpily climbs out of bed to do her morning rituals. By 5:15 AM, she's ready to go.

By the time she arrives at school, the deafening noise of her classmates' chatting is what welcomes her. For a student whose friends are not so close and not so many, she would really be alone. "EVERYBODY FALL IN!" says the CAT officers. Every single student went to their positions and formed their lines to start the flag ceremony. She was sweating like a pig, together with her fellow classmates, because their position was under the direct sunlight. After the HOT, literally, flag ceremony, she was once again contained in the 4 walls of reality. "This is it," says the girl in her mind. She prepared herself for the next things to follow..

*tick tock, tick tock*

Time passed by fast. Little did she know, t'was already the last minute of their last subject for the day. All she remembers are the requirements given, nothing more, nothing less. As their teacher dismissed them, not after a minute, she was ready to go home.

She never knew that a first day class would be that tiring. At the end of the day, she still needs to comply and do what's assigned for her to do so.

Those 4 tiring days that next passed by was a blur. Same things happen. Wake up, do the morning rituals, go to school, do necessary things to do at school, go home, do the homework, sleep. Nothing extraordinary happened.

Well, that's how it goes. Adjustments made. After that tireless 2 months of vacation, one really needs to adjust in that 5 days of tiresome activities. But aside that, this girl really enjoyed her week. New friends, and new learning (specially Spanish. :3 Ola! ^_^) So, first week is first week. Something's new, yet most's the same.

Oh well, signing out, Ms.-Not-So-Excited-With-First-Days,
Audrey. ;)
